We have had a wonderful time visiting Mammie and Jerry. An amazing trip to the Space and Rocket museum where they had the Star Wars exhibit on and a great day at the Barber race track in Leeds Alabama.

I am rebuilding a 2000 Miata that needs an engine. The guy I bought the engine from races Miatas and RX8s. So I went down with Ann and Jay to watch the race. Amazing track.

My hand crafted sand box

Well. Building a sand box ended up costing $200 and a bunch of labor. So Jay said “dad let’s get one of those small plastic table sand boxes. I thought oh yes this is a much better idea. We went to 4 different stores. And at last we found it at Menards. They had two very dirty ones left over. We rinsed it and filled it with white beach sand. It is cool. Jenny came over and played with Jay for an hour or more.

Success!

Rained all day no building but we priced it out. Sandbox tomorrow.

Yippe! We are going to build a sandbox on Saturday… hope it goes well.

I used to play in my sandbox as a boy and I know Jay will have a blast in it.
